1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to SoulSync ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the SoulSync mobile application and website ( collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

SoulSync is a science-based dating platform that uses personality assessments including MBTI, Spectrum, Emotional Intelligence (EQ), and Intelligence Quotient (IQ) tests to help users find compatible matches. Our Service is designed for users aged 18 and above.

2. Eligibility

To use SoulSync, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• Not have been previously banned from the Service
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

3. Account Registration and Security

When you create an account with SoulSync, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

4. Personality Assessments

You are responsible for how you interpret and act upon your assessment results. We recommend consulting with qualified professionals for mental health or relationship counseling.

5. Matching Algorithm and Compatibility

SoulSync uses proprietary algorithms to suggest potential matches based on personality compatibility and other factors. You acknowledge that:

• Match suggestions are based on algorithmic analysis, not guarantees of compatibility
• We do not guarantee that you will find a suitable match
• Success in relationships depends on many factors beyond personality compatibility
• We make no representations about the character, intentions, or identity of any user
• We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the Service

6. User Conduct and Safety

You agree to use SoulSync in a safe and respectful manner. You will NOT:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post violent, graphic, or sexually explicit content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation or spam
• Collect or harvest personal information from other users
• Create multiple accounts or use automated systems
• Share content that violates intellectual property rights
• Promote illegal activities or substances
• Share false or misleading information
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access restricted areas

7. Content and Intellectual Property

When you upload photos, messages, or other content to SoulSync, you:

• Retain ownership of your content
• Grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, modify, and display your content
• Represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you share
• Agree that we may remove content that violates these Terms

All SoulSync branding, logos, software, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using SoulSync, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy, including your personality assessment data and matching preferences.

9. Free Service and Future Premium Features

SoulSync is currently 100% free to use. We reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future. If we do, we will:

• Provide advance notice of any paid features
• Clearly communicate pricing and terms
• Maintain core features as free options
• Allow you to continue using free features without obligation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Harmful conduct toward other users
• Extended period of inactivity

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SOULSYNC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoulSync, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SoulSync operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
2. Binding arbitration if negotiation fails (where permitted by law)
3. Courts of competent jurisdiction in our operating jurisdiction as a last resort

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you through the app or via email
• Provide you the opportunity to review changes before they take effect

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Miscellaneous

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver: No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SoulSync regarding the use of the Service.
